As a small publisher, we are very selective in what we publish. We do, however, welcome book proposals which fit with our interest in Irish politics and culture. We do not as a rule publish fiction. We prefer to see a full manuscript before giving full consideration to a book proposal. As a first step (and even if you do have a complete manuscript) we like to see a book proposal. Your book proposal should include:
- a detailed outline of the book, including title, chapter headings and contents;
- how long the book will be;
- what readership it is aimed at;
- any plans for illustrations, photographs etc.;
- any issues of copyright;
- whether you think the book should include an index.
The proposal should be sent to us by post. Any unsolicited proposals which arrive by e-mail will be rejected automatically.
